MAY 18TH PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION

View the Ordinance Amending the Mineral Extraction Ordinance Proposed Revisions (updated May 6, 2020)

Public Hearing on May 18th is only to review proposed changes to the mining ordinance and to explain how the Ordinance, IUP (Interim Use Permit) and Operations Agreement work together.

This hearing will also be available virtually and residents can use Zoom for listening only to the meeting. The link for the Zoom meeting will be on this website along with instructions for logging on.

At approximately 6:45 p.m., using any new information about COVID-19 guidelines, the Board will pick a new date for the continuation of this hearing which will then include the public comment portion of the hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER UPDATES TO TOWNSHIP MINERAL EXTRACTION ORDINANCE 8

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of San Francisco Township will hold a public hearing beginning at 6:00PM, on Monday, May 18, 2020, to be held at the San Francisco township hall, 17380 Homestead Rd, Carver, Minnesota, according to MN state statute 145A.05 and 375.51, to consider updates to township Ordinance 8 regarding Mineral Extraction.

If the stay at home order is still in effect, the meeting will be postponed to a future date TBD.

A copy of the ordinance and the proposed updates will be  available for inspection on the township website:  www.SanFranciscoTownship.com/Ordinances  by May 6, 2020.

All interested persons may appear at the public hearing and present their views orally or in writing.
