NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the San Francisco Township Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on February 5, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., at the Church on the River, 109 Main St. E., Carver, MN for the purpose of hearing, considering, and making a recommendation regarding the application submitted by Chard Tilling & Excavating, Inc. for an interim use permit to expand its sand and gravel mining operation located adjacent to County Road 11 in Section 1 of the Township. The proposal is to continue the current mining operations on 35 acres of the property, which no more than 10 acres being actively mined at any time. The proposed importing and recycling of concrete and asphalt on the property has been withdrawn from the application. A copy of the application is posted on the Town’s website. Interested persons are encouraged to attend the hearing or to submit written comments to the Town Clerk prior to the hearing.
