San Francisco Town Hall on National Register

Members of San Francisco Township Citizens’ Advisory Committee recently celebrated the new designation of the San Francisco Town Hall on the National Register of Historic Places.

This status enables the group to apply for state Legacy funds to restore the former one-room District 22 schoolhouse, built in 1917.

The building, located off of Homestead Road in Carver County, also serves as a voting precinct for the township.
